Spicy Yogurt Dip for Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp coriander seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp caraway seeds

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1 tsp ground red pepper

  • 2 cups plain fat-free yogurt

  • 1 tbsp thinly sliced green onions

  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • ½ tsp honey

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

  • Vegetables for dipping – carrots, celery, peppers, cucumber…

Instructions

  1. Place the first 3 ingredients in a spice or coffee grinder, and process until finely ground. 

  2. Place spice mixture, turmeric, and pepper in a small skillet over medium heat; cook 1 minute or until fragrant. 

  3. Combine spice mixture, yogurt, and remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring to combine.
