Ingredients
1 large bunch Swiss chard, stems chopped, leaves chopped in strips 1 inch wide
¼ large red onion, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 pinches red pepper flakes (more if you want extra heat)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add onion and red pepper flakes. Cook until onion begins to soften and turn translucent, about 3 minutes.
Add Chard and cook for 5 minutes. It will greatly reduce in size.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the chard reaches desired texture.
Add salt to taste. A few pinches should do.
